Winter activities

Snow-shoeing

All the pleasure of walking in deep snow… Enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. A great way to get fit, especially as the slope gets ever steeper. No previous experience is necessary, anyone can do it.

A refreshing way to have lots of fun.

Ski mountaineering

Not keen on busy ski resorts? Dreaming of fresh snow under your skis, getting outdoors and getting fit? Why not have a go at ski mountaineering?

After the effort of a long ascent on seal skins, enjoy the pure pleasure of a powder descent in total solitude.

Real skiing on your own.

Off-piste skiing

Fed up with marked pistes? Want to go off into the undergrowth? Ever dreamt of skiing down steep off-piste slopes, making the first tracks? Why not try a bit of off-piste or “free ride” if you want to sound really cool?

Take advantage of the lifts and tows to get to the top of the mountain, then the powder is all yours.

This sport allows you to be both daring and to experience the real pleasure of skiing at the same time.

Ice climbing

This sport provides you with the amazing opportunity to climb a structure of ephemeral ice. Each year the ice forms itself into a differently shaped waterfall. The only evidence of your visit is the marks left by the removable ice screws, your crampons and ice axes, which will melt and disappear along with the snow in spring.

This winter sport takes place on the north side of the mountain, not for those who feel the cold.

A sport for ice addicts.

Survival courses

We also run winter survival and first aid courses. The aims of the courses are to teach you familiarity with essential winter safety techniques. We show you how to use an avalanche transponder, spade and probe in an avalanche rescue situation. We also teach you how to use a GPS to orientate yourself and teach you how to set up a bivouac.
