Summer activities

Walking

There are a la carte rambles to help you discover the area, more sporting hikes for the experienced walker, or trips of up to several days for those who are looking for a challenge, with porters and bivouacs.

Wonderful scenery, fresh air, and a healthy tiredness are all the essential ingredients for you to enjoy during your stay here…

Via ferrata

Confronting the void without being a skilled rock climber:
Routes are equipped with permanent fixtures (suspension bridges, wire bridges, tyrolean rope slides, ladders etc.), which have all been installed to give you the best possible experience in total security.

Enjoy the great playground that is the world outdoors.

Rock climbing

Concentration, self control and balance are necessary to do this sport, both mentally and physically.

To be able to move your body about naturally high above the ground as you would do so naturally at ground level, all you need to have is confidence (in yourself and in the belayer), and to remember that the equipment allows you to climb in total safety.

Climb silently at your own speed, the only noise the click, click of the karabiners.

Take a walk on the wild side

Mix a via ferrata, a big rock climb, a trip up a rocky crest and you get what the French call “un parcours aventure”. Easy climbing, big abseils, tyroleans and steel wires to go hand over hand along, are all there if you want them.

Play around, and at the same time, take part in an extraordinary vertical challenge.

Seesawing about

Experience life in a vertical world, reliving your child hood on a succession ofTarzan swings above the Clue de St Auban.

Take our advice and don’t eat a big lunch before taking part in this activity.…

Canyoning

Abseiling, tyroleans, slides, jumps into natural bowls interspersed with the odd bit of swimming.

Wearing a wetsuit, you make your way down a stunning natural canyon, a world of water and vertical cliffs.

In a word – amazing!

Water sports

This takes place in the last pool of the canyon in the Clue de St Auban called la Laune du Moulin.

Abseil down, then cross a tyrolean hand over hand, this activity is specially designed for groups and those who are too young to do the whole canyon.

Horse riding

From the complete beginner (in the paddock) to rides several days long, we can help you to explore the area from a completely different angle.

Mountain biking

An ideal way to discover the little mountain tracks which criss-cross our peaceful rural surroundings.
